The post you are reporting:
Here is an update as of 23 May 2012, information received from the Department for Transport, transcribed in my own words to reflect the meaning, but to preserve confidentiality.
In August 2011, the Secretary of State, who since has changed post, announced a change in criteria when considering applications under the 1991 Ports Act for a transfer scheme.
He also introduced facilitated discussions with interested parties, which concluded in January 2012.
DHB announced they would submit new material, which has not yet been sent in.
When it is forwarded, there will be an opportunity for all interested parties, including myself, to comment on the additional material provided.
Those who have made representations will be informed by the Department for Transport.
All the bodies and organisations that have made representations on the proposed sale of the Port of Dover are being treated in a similar manner, which also applies to DPPT.
