    fair point alex but don't forget that growth point money is only forthcoming if the houses are built.

    as regards jobs all a bit of a chicken and egg situation, companies cannot open if there are not enough potential staff nearby and also whitfield is ideal commuting country for canterbury with much lower house prices.
