The post you are reporting:
This is where the whole contradiction comes in regards planning.
There are so many empty properties in Thanet, and the situation there is destined to get worse, with even more empty properties. As Howard says.
Meanwhile, Dover's growth status points project is supposed to go on, on condition that we get 6,500 more houses in Dover and Deal.
Does anyone here see a contradiction, or is it just me?
If DDC got Pfizer up and running at full capacity and we kept the present properties (accommodations) in the Dover and Thanet districts inhabited, that would just be holding on to otherwise lost territory.
Instead, they can't even manage that, not even in combined efforts with Thanet Council, but have dreams of building 6,500 more properties in the Dover District area.
So where are all these new people supposed to work, then? At Pfizers, or Tilmanstone Salads?
Somewhere DDC planning has lost the plot.
