    Yes if the contributors themselves want lots of non political threads then please start them by all means. Ive just looked down along page one of the forum and there is a good spread of the non political.

    Chatter tends to go with whats on the daily news by and large. Some political, some non political like Seafrance or Costa Concordia, and some like the Breast Implant thread which inevitably turn political because the problem washed up on the political doorstep.

    It wouldnt be possible to stick to Dover only stories as Tony mentions there as we would soon dry up and people do like to chat about the national issues.

    There isnt any instant solution but hopefully plenty of non political threads to follow, thats the best route...but also.. alas for some...politics too. That way everybody is happy.
