It is becoming clear that alot of the Current Councillors at DDC and DTC are not standing in the elections in May,I will mention a few that I know of and I suspect there will be a few more I haven't heard about.
In Dover Marion Munt In Deal Chris Rook Mark Furnival in River AndrewRichardson In Sandwich Simon Leith.
On Dover Town Council,Bob Markham and Lynn Young David Hannent have all decided to stand down along with David Lloyd who was disqualified,so we can look forward to some new faces,ut many of these Cllrs have been hard working in thier various rolls.
Some Councillors are playing musical chairs and are standing in different wards than they stand now.
This is really to pay tribute to them as some have been Cllrs for many years.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

best wishes to the retiring ones, must be a good thing to have some new faces on the council.
there will be a few eyebrows raised when the candidates list comes out.

Keith, surely if someone is not standing for re-election they are standing down in relation to that seat.

Surely if he is giving up a town seat to contest a district one, that would not be standing down, but standing UP?
