Who is to be the great arbiter of what is silly and what is to the point?
Rummaging through my extensive local knowledge hoard I seem to discover that the famed Tram Shelter is itself situated at the confluence of two thoroughfares, if the subject under discussion exists in such a nether world, Tardis like, it's hardly surprising that it gets about the forum.

Some come here to read and write
some come here to ponder
one or two to pick a fight
as some look on in wonder

So now, courtesy of Madam Chairman, we have yet another thread about the tram shelter.
The more the merrier, obviously!

Don't know about silly comments Keith but if some posters wrote in English it would help. What does "xferred" mean? Transferred, preferred, referred - who knows. Perhaps I am just an out of touch wrinklie.
