20:1787066a couple of interesting items amongst the expected dross that usually occupies a house magazine.
firstly a new "one stop shop" for victims of domestic abuse has opened at buckland and whitfield childrens centre at st nicholas church in dover.
drop in sessions are held on a tuesday morning between 9.30 and noon where victims can speak to a police officer.
secondly pcso tracy brittenden has done her bit to address anti social behaviour in her patch of st radigunds, after speaking to the kids and actully asking what they wanted, a street dancing class at the triangles community centre was started.
the first class attracted 74 to the first class. it is open to anyone betwee the ages of 5 and 18. she says that there has been a drop off in reports of anti social behaviour.
