Here is a little piece of info from the Police...not related to the above event as mentioned by Alec but another close by a day or two earlier...
A 22-year-old Dover man was issued with an £80 fine and fixed penalty notice after police were called to the Dover Discovery Centre on Saturday (21 January 2012).
It was reported at midday that the man was shouting and swearing at staff in the centre and had pushed over a shelving unit as he left the building.
Town centre police officers attended and with the help of CCTV operators, traced the man and he was issued with the fine.

Just to add my own small note. In the old days if a policeman told you to move along you generally did what you were told. There was still a general awareness of what was right and wrong. Nowadays everyone thinks they are right all the time. There isnt the same deference towards the Police...people, usually drunk, argue the toss right or wrong, and as we have seen recently are even attacking Police..we have seen knifings of Police officers, beating ups, people driving cars directly at them and so on. The point Im making is..that its not the old days any longer...if only! The Police need to go in numbers where possible especially if there is any hint of drunkeness.
