  i think most of the public look at the statements from the parties and take a jaundiced view.
  ever since the arrival of the saatchi brothers politicians are well advised on how to put their policies over in a way that confuse the public. the police issue is important to all of us, we have yet to discover how having fewer police will carry on the same way as they do at present.
  
  the obvious thing to all of us is to cut the ridiculous amount of paperwork allowing officers to be out on the street. the home secretary promised us this would happen the day she took the job, no sign of it happening though.
