    It will be fine. People should be more accountable for being victims of crime. It should be the personal responsibility of individuals to put in crime deterrents for themselves. They should not be dependent on the nanny state and excessive policing created over the last 13 years.

    The overspending on policing by the last government has contributed to our current financial position and cuts must be made. The deficit is growing at a rate equating to 1 policeman's wage and the cost of half a police horse per second. We can't go on like this. People can no longer look to the state when they have a crime problem...remember 'we're all in this together' and that includes criminals. If only we could privatise the activity of criminals and their actions would regulate themselves.

    I think I am getting the hang of this Big Society thing...I can't believe how stupid I have been!
