  It's funny the regularity with which we are asked to accept, "that mistakes were made, lessons to be learnt, shall endeavour to do better in the future, time to put this behind us now and move on..."
  We get this guff from Politicians, The Press and the Police. But from a seventeen year old about what was said when she was fourteen it's a whole different story.
  
  Young Paris Brown will be a hard act to follow and her post much less valid now that her replacement will have to have done less than nothing in order to qualify. A good opportunity wasted, and for no better reason than the clamour of the Media. No doubt someone, way down the line of queenly succession, will step forward to be proclaimed acceptable. Acceptable but useless.
