on the bbc local news it was anoused that the above firm will be holding a review due to over population of ferries heading to calias,there frieght and passenger numbers have fallen a bit and looking at ways to make it profitable again.and not forgetting the last time they had a review 1500 staff lost there jobs,if it cuts it staff by half again how safe would there sailings be etc.

always on the cards brian, those 3 new ferries were bound to have an effect, maybe ed when he looks in can give an insight into what looks like over capacity.

yes howard i saw the cards while in play.the trouble is p&o have a couple of ships to many.quite often you see two togeter in and out,in and out all day long,and it makes you wonder if that many ships are full to capasaty.

They are probably looking to employ all agency workers,
