That was a case there Keefy me oul china of how being in opposition is so different, once in the job you cant change things..you just go along with the flow. It all lacked a bit of teeth yesterday but Ed Miliband is certainly growing in stature. He has improved from hopeless to reasonably good. I think people around the country might just like him and it could help at the next general election.

I think where Cameron scores best Howard is when he is out and about talking to the media, sometimes in a concerned way. He is believeable like that. But PMQ's is most definitely not his best bit of the week. His halo sleeps to the floor and no mistake. If I was his adviser I would suggest a more statesmanlike genial approach, an easier approach, always playing for the guffaws of his baying sidekicks is a wee bit undignified and he will try any ould tin pot line to get those guffaws. This is where the undignified unsuccessful aspect comes in.

I dont know if you noticed Maude yesterday. There is something excruciatingly embarassing about Francis Maude and he showed it yesterday in his face pulling and yelping. Everybody sees that and will remember it at election time I'm sure.
