decided against my better judgement to sit through about 30 minutes of today's proceedings.
i can only say that i have never seen anyone so lacking in the qualities that a prime minister should have, believe me i have seen some doughnuts in the job in my time.
i was racking my brains trying to remember who he reminded me of, eventually i realised it was one of those blokes with a loud voice in a saloon bar that would shout over anyone that disgreed with him.
usually the bar would slowly empty leaving only the bore to bark something along the lines of "half of i.p.a landlord".

the whole set up is so out of date
and it was cameron himself who stated when in power he would modernise this outdated half hour of playground noises
of course this was one of his many early u turns

That was a case there Keefy me oul china of how being in opposition is so different, once in the job you cant change things..you just go along with the flow. It all lacked a bit of teeth yesterday but Ed Miliband is certainly growing in stature. He has improved from hopeless to reasonably good. I think people around the country might just like him and it could help at the next general election.
I think where Cameron scores best Howard is when he is out and about talking to the media, sometimes in a concerned way. He is believeable like that. But PMQ's is most definitely not his best bit of the week. His halo sleeps to the floor and no mistake. If I was his adviser I would suggest a more statesmanlike genial approach, an easier approach, always playing for the guffaws of his baying sidekicks is a wee bit undignified and he will try any ould tin pot line to get those guffaws. This is where the undignified unsuccessful aspect comes in.
I dont know if you noticed Maude yesterday. There is something excruciatingly embarassing about Francis Maude and he showed it yesterday in his face pulling and yelping. Everybody sees that and will remember it at election time I'm sure.

PAULB;
I think paul your correct on cameron, my feelings are that cameron realy did get off to a flyer, but his continued ' it's all labours fault' has worn thin, and after his honeymoon period, people are now seeing through him, and now distrusting him.
Of course you also get the cameron problem(he has many) of what he does about it, his problem being, if he doesn't play up to his back benchers, he loses there support, problem being, in carrying on this play ground arena, just switchses more and more people off politics, and distrusts politicians more and more.
