  The Prime Minister, speaking from India, has launched a scathing condemnation of Hilary Mantel's definition of Plastic Kate.

  Mrs. Mantel believes that Kate is " becoming a jointed doll on which certain rags are hung".
  That she has the "perfect plastic smile".
