We did very well today, I hope some of you went. I know I did not see any forum members around the shop today except for Terry.
Terry my daughter said thank you.

i dropped in briefly this morning, every bit of space seemed to be taken up with stalls, plenty of activity.
there were three other events today that i know of, probably a few more.
I hope it went well, Jan - I missed it because of the damned knee, sorry.

I think about £1000 should help to keep Riverside going a little longer.
I was surprised we took that much with so many other events on in the town.

Busy attracts busy - if it looked busy it would de facto have become successful! I am a veteran of many a PR or recruitment drive at fairs and conferences - if you can stimulate (or even fabricate) some activity, activity will be attracted. So well done - an impressive result!!! Nice one.

I was busy today, Jan. But hope to visit the shop soon, to add some more items to my collections. The other week I purchased a pair of lovely prints and a plate.

Jan.
You are most welcome to have a spot in our Charity Tent at the Kent Miners Festival on the 29th August?
All charities are welcome to come along free of charge and promote their great community work.
PS. Help for Heroes have not replied yet; really want them there, if anyone has info?

Well done Jan and everyone. I was working all day so couldn't come along
Bern, sorry to hear the ole knee is playing up again, mine is not so bad these days.
Thank you Colette, good to hear that yours is less troublesome. Mine is actually very much better but still a bit of a problem - thankful for small mercies though! I am no longer writhing in agony, so I mustn't grumble..........
