  Dover District Council has granted planning permission for 70 extra care apartments for older people in a £25m redevelopment of the old sorting office on Charlton Green in Dover. The 0.69ha site will be developed by McCarthy & Stone, the UK's leading retirement house builder.

  I just hope the overgrown trees and bushes soon disappear from blocking the pavement in Salisbury Road which happens every year.
  
  Nearly got an overhanging bramble in my face this morning when I was on my mobility scooter, I used the road for my return journey.
