spotted this on the d.d.c. website, this was "neet feet".
thought there was enough food outlets along there.

Yes it seems an odd choice yet again Howard. There is a takeaway baquette type place just a door or two away, cant remember the name of it. But we are overstocked with fast food outlets thats for sure. Fast food is not generally cheap either, not always a good buy for those feeling the economic pinch.
Yet anyone starting a new business right now is brave so good luck to them.

off the top of my head the baguette bar you mention next door, jacks then another restaurant.
across the road a kebab house, a long established cafe then kfc.
i think i have missed out another restaurannt.

Ever wary of the odd spelling error...
Had it in fact been called Neat Feet, then that would indeed be something to stick to your ribs...more usually known as Hooves.
As to cost, in these cash-strapped times. Added-Value it used to be called. I am unsure who gets the added value though...one man's waste product is another man's wallet lightener?
Time was when our towns bristled with stench-spouting factory chimneys. Ah but, flues are shiny.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

Baquette Ella, Jacks Steak and Grill Bar will be next door; Mandy's tea shop has closed, but there is also El Rustica the Italian Pasta and Pizza restauarant, then opposite is Chapter 8, Kings Kebab House, KFC and another fast-food shop.
There should be a maximum number of the same type of businesses in an area as we would not then get a concentration and it would increase the diversity of businesses, giving people more reason to come into Town, so making the Town a better place to visit and shop.
