    two seperate issues here.

    firstly 80 grand spent on regenerating the town would come up with nothing that would make a difference, whilst spending it on enhancing our countryside means much more dosh being spent that doesn't come out of our pockets.

    as has been said samphire hoe and the langdon cliffs are attracting record numbers of visitors, any work done at these places and the western heights means that future generations of dovorians and visitors will benefit.

    the redevelopment of the st james area has been covered on many other threads.
