I`m sure some members out there will know of this book. I`m interested as to what year it appeared, when it finished, and where it originated from. Did other towns have a similar directory? The one I have, covers 1937-38, all businesses, names and addresses, who lives where, and it belonged to my father. His father had a fancy goods shop at 16 Worthington street before the war, and his best mate was Dan Grilli, who had a confectioner`s shop there at 6 Worthington street, and was still going in the early 60s. Another bit of Dover history. Anyway, any info on above?
