Oh dear, maybe you should have got an owl without a smile that one looks very friendly.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Owls during daytime attract other birds, as they will get together and chase the owl away.
If it blatantly won't move, the birds ignore it.
That said, even owls ignore a dummy owl.
