i think there were a combination of factors causing the closure, footfall is low along there and there always seems to be too many restaurants and cafes with only so much money available to be spent on such things.

It also comes back to a body supporting businesses - which we don't have.

The factors surrounding this closure are actually nothing to do with the statements made above. It is not appropriate for me to give details as to what happened, but the unit is now available to let if anyone wants a nice shop in Bench Street!
