Well done Alex. I know where that red pillar box is very well. The local guys fought hard to keep that one as I remember, it was earmarked for removal to the scrapheap. But its a lovely little corner of old England..well captured in your picture there.
Isn't it a shame that there is the modern street-lamp column on your first photo (a conservation area), but an appropriate one in the second - and they're not that far from each other (still in the same conservation area).
