why am i posting that national story i hear you say.
today a former features executive made further claims against mr coulson saying that he was fully aware of all such conduct.
the gentleman in question is none other than paul mcmullan , genial host at "the castle" hostelry here in dover.

17:2269526"Channel 4 News has learnt from the former features executive that he left the paper in 2001, two years before Mr Coulson became its chief."
Isn't one of the features of this story the number of high profile politicians who were too dim to change the default PIN on their mobiles, and they were/are the ones we rely on for the security of the country?

10:4569702Keith,
'Phone tapping has gone on for some time, my phone and many others'
Whilst both GCHQ and our American cousins at Menwith Hill have indeed been hovering up vast amounts of 'phone and internet traffic for some time, with greatly expanded capacity under what was known as the 'SIGMod initiative', using powerful main-frame computers and voice-recognition software, I somehow doubt whether they are interested in the warbling of our own Citizen Smith!

10:4869703Delusions of grandeur Bob, a bit like Presser. It's either that or paranoia. And, who the heck would want to listen to the phone calls of either of those two anyway?

Tapping a phone doesn't do much good really - try using a hammer!

19:1478820lo and behold this story returns, the genial host of the "castle" pub here in dover spoke at great length on sky news about how he feels that people like him have been left to hang out to dry whilst andy coulson enjoys the protection of the prime minister.
mr coulson claims that all the hacking was done without his knowledge by rogue journalists, mr mcmullan says the opposite. the police are acting on the basis of accusations made in the new york times.
