    seriously though, when any company is out delivering goods, they like to work in a circle, with drop off points as close together as possible.

    dover is a problem, a load may be three quarters discharged in canterbury, leaving the truck half an hour to get here earning no money, then it may have to go back as far as canters again before picking up any cargo, hence time with no money again.

    in an urban environment, trucks are continually dropping off and picking up.
