whilst stocking up on foie gras and truffles earlier in asda i noticed a petition for a skate board park in dover.
a) we already have one in pencester gardens.
b) if there was a need for another one where would it be sited? a quick look at the addresses of the signatories suggests that we would need another 6 to keep everyone happy.

took these about an hour ago, the place is hardly buzzing - can't see any point in having any more.

Perhaps the petition is for Skate Bowls, and a misreading of this has led to many of the older generation signing up. Maybe they think it Green Bowls, but without the walking back and forward all the time?
Cold and breezy as the day appears, litter free to boot, there are not many people about full stop. The facility near me is of the 'bowl' type and is very popular and well attended, weather permitting. Of course Hackney has not gone to the extra trouble of siting a CCTV camera in the midst of things.

Ambitious, but there is a lot about each of these designs not to like.
