  i'm in a very fortunate position of haviung a job, having my own home paid for
  and a fairly good life with a good pension etc.
  
  but as a real lefty i dont forget my roots and still want to help others less fortunate than myself.
  
  
  so each day i do so, and it does look gloomy for many people on the job front, and at the moment theres little pospect of that improving.
  
  a recent local interview for a poorly paid job had 700 applicants says a lot
