    You should all note that attempts are being made to stress the non-political aspects of the bid. The bid is made on behalf of everyone, not the local Tories. For example, one of the board members is Bob Markham, ex-town Mayor and long-standing member of the Labour Party.

    But then I am telling you what you already know, as I am sure you will have checked out the Peoples' Port website (which contains that information).
