The post you are reporting:
The Town, its residents and the visitors all derserve a better Town.
Roger
It has been going on since the War....the DHB and the Council have never been seen to co-operate with each other....and there have bee shocking acts against the peasantness and history of this town....whereas co-operation and intelligence would have bought better prosperity even now, in spite of recessions.
The hope that a bigger, better Port would bring secure employment and thus the Town would prosper, has disappeared....If the Town looked as good as the Seafront and the Port...no-one would be constantly debating this...
It is not a case of negativity, or running down everything in thoughts, the facts are there to see....
Luckily in this day and age, we have full communications etc...and can now see how everything is done, and why everything is in the state that it is....
Dover geographical, environmentally has a beautiful/stunning setting, it is the decisions by our elected/unelected officers that have failed so dismally.....and they have over the years not adhered to their elected/unelected office of fighting for the town, but merely and meekly or to their own ends buckled under the power of the DHB...
Yes, I agree with you Roger......and I think these people should only serve for a
one to five year term, so they cannot inflict any more damage...
