good question alec and a belated answer from me.
a lot depends on the weather of course but the promotion of these concerts is dire.
what happens is that when the bands warm up it is only friends and family present then when music rings out people stop to listen regardless of their age or musical taste.
i took these about half two on my way up to colette's event at connaught park.
