But how many more holes can Dover take before it sinks altogether ?

This closure is not due to Dover's poor trading as has been stated, but company policy, which is difficult, if not impossible to argue against, for any Town.

Woollies closed down but not because of Dover; same with Samuels and now Curry's digital.

We need to be able to go out and attract new businesses to Dover, tell them what we are doing here and how we can help, support and market new and current Town businesses and suppport the Town in general.

This can be done under the auspices of the Dover Chamber of Commerce and Dover Business Support - if enough funding can be obtained.

There is a new ambition at the Chamber and that ambition, is moving Dover forward - not by inane promises, but real practical help and support.
