  back in early may i purchased 12 shrubs from our local garden centre poundland. followed all the instructions to the letter but only 6 sprouted green bits.

  i don't think mr nunn has quite got the hang of poundland jacqui as we read that he only purchased the one.
  
  one buys in multiples of two and can confidently expect a 50% success ratio.
