The post you are reporting:
I have said many times on here what I would do given the authority and responsibility to do them, I was given the opportunity to start them but had the legs taken away from me before I has the chance to make much progress, but I had made a start - and I thought, a good start.
It's unlikely I'll ever be given the opportunity again (not sure why though, but that's another story), but whoever is given the chance to implement their own ideas and move the Town forward, I wish them well.
Moving the Town forward will need the support of the local businesses themselves, as well as the Town and District Councils and other stakeholders - as they declare themselves.
Some things won't cost the earth, just effort and co-ordinating, other things will cost some money, but I don't believe the businesses and the Town as a whole, can wait much longer.
On another thread, I asked what do forumites (busniesses ?) suggest the share of the Mary Portas £1million (just over £80,000 each), be spent on - any ideas ?
