Most of the Labour Party didnt vote on this for some reason. They vacated the building.

Mr Cameron forgot yesterday for a while that he was the Prime Minister as he gave the bog standard reaction to this topic that he used to give while in opposition.

"The thoughts of prisoners voting makes me physically sick!"
said he in full opposition mode. However later when he fully realised the complexity of the situation he was less aggravational. So, kicking prisoners rights into touch and telling the European Court "UpYourDelors" wont work because we already have prisoners compensation claims in the pipeline (for being denied the vote for years) to the tune of £120,000,000 and rising.

Seeing the costs involved Mr Cameron had a rethink later. Some piece meal deal will have to be reached otherwise it will cost us all serious money. Money better spent on hospitals or indeed on some of the facilities the nation is losing right right now across the board.
