  DDC parking permit holders will be issued with an 8 week extension, on a pro rata basis, to compensate for the lockdown period. To qualify for the 8 weeks extension the permits must have been valid during the period when parking charges were suspended

  Great. Now perhaps DDC'll actually start patrolling my road and ticketing the b'stard overstayers, which they didn't do even before the suspension.
