Clearly it was abandoned in a hurry there Howard, probably after a police chase. Have you ever seen these police chases on Tv...I promise myself I wont watch but then...but many result in crashes and even death as the guys in the cars are desperate to escape and become totally reckless.
all very odd, the car and the police seemed to disappear very quickly.
i was then on the 68 bus about 3.45 p.m. and the driver could not negotiate clarendon place because of a car being parked well away from the kerb.
all doors were knocked on and nobody knew who owned the car, so naturally a call was made to the police to come and shift it.
i then got off ready to walk home and took a glance at the offending vehicle which was very similar to the one pictured above.
looked at it and it had a very new looking dent in the front. just then a couple come along jumped into the car and raced off.
