  Once again a big thank you to all of you for your kind messages. Tonight I have happier news.
  
  This afternoon he came to and sat up. He couldn't talk because he has a tube down his throat but the nurse did some tests and he responded perfectly. My daughter was with him at the time and he squeezed her hand tight and when the nurse asked him to nod if he could hear them he did! He had to be sedated again until the doctor sees him in the morning when they are hoping to remove the ventilation tube then. He is being treated with antibiotics for a chest infection but things are looking good tonight, thank you God and thank you all for caring .......I really mean that.
