Pulling out of the EU to save the money we pay in is as we know UKIP thinking. They have been banging on about this one for years and years. I remember Lord So and So saying so over and over again during the election, a while before he abdicated as leader, it was their one sad policy, but did anyone listen ...no. Its like basic school sums thinking.
Nobody is prepared to risk anything right now re pulling out for fear that it would drastically affect jobs and leave us in worse poverty for the years ahead. The poverty predictions today are very disturbing and they come from the Institute of Fiscal Studies, a well respected body.
Unfortunately the poverty predictions are essentially down to our own Governments job cutting program right across the public sector. Yesterday they were asked to slow this down as many more than predicted have lost public jobs. Creating the jobs to replace those lost jobs in the private sector, has NOT happened. Mr Cameron's policy to flood us with alternative employment opportunities has NOT materialised. So as a result we have massed job losses catapulting kids into poverty with no alternative option.
Quote from the PUBLIC SECTOR EXECUTIVE newsletter..
"Public sector job losses are far worse than forecast, according to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Their researchers say that the total cuts on public sector staff will be 50% higher than predicted."
