  it transpires that four members of the house of lords have legged it from the upper house.
  
  they had the choice of paying tax before passing laws over the rest of us or resigning and keeping their titles.
  
  being the classy people that they are, the natural decision was to not pay any tax.
  
  i hasten to add that not all are like that, posh barry continues to pay the iniquitous taxes just like us commoners.

  How on earth can you respect a bunch of people that seem to think they're above and beyond the law? They may enact laws but that sure doesn't mean they're not subject to them. The Lords is long overdue a good shake-up I think.

  I think you will find our dear lords (I always touch my forelock when I come across them, well that is in the days when I had a forelock) are above the law. I believe the term is "Thieving B******S"
