we are going to lose some of our well loved four legged friends as they go to pastures new.
8 foals from hospital down and the western heights are being taken to wildwood before reaching their final destination at loch of strathberg in scotland.
it appears they are suited to the wetland habitat there.
i don't know how many foals are at hospital down, but at the end of last autumn there were 9 adults and at least 6 foals on the heights.

I think it is only temporary until the slopes dry out, they Koniks are carving the paths up a bit too much over the winter
Been nice knowing you :)

doubt that paul, yes they do carve up the paths but why do they take the smaller ones?
may not be too much of a problem the stallion done his job well last year, he can arrange replacements this year.
for some reason i keep on thinking of john goodwin.

Howard, I think they take the foals to stop any interbreeding.
