As for the 'homophobia' comments you made they do you no good either. There is a cultural issue here and if you really want to have a go at anyone over that you could just as easily target muslims. It is dangerous to expect other countries/cultures to adopt your prejudices. You would be very lonely you did not accept that other have a different attitude to yours on a subject that remains controversial in many parts of the world. Hysterical accusations of homophobia against anyone not fully signed up to that agenda is frankly ridiculous.
Might I also remind you of something that may be quite unpalatable to you. Labour, as members of the socialist group in the EU, are aligned also to some very dubious groups that could equally be subject to the same attacks you are making against some of the Conservative allies.
