  The Polish Law and Justice Party is homophobic & when in power in 2006 ordered investigations of all gay groups for illegal financing, paedophilia and criminal connections. As policy it opposes recognition of same sex unions. Its leaders and many of its members clearly have a homophobic agenda, further they are staunchly catholic (with both a large and small C) and are proposing restrictions on abortion. It has a very pro family agenda and message - not in and of itself a bad thing.
  
  The Latvian National Independence Movement is an ultra nationalist movement in Latvia, that opposes immigration, warns of the dangers of non Latvians etc. etc. (very BNP frankly). There are many accusations of past links of many of their members with the SS cadres drawn from Latvia during the Nazi occupation, these should probably be taken with a large pinch of salt.
  
  The other parties seem to be fairly centre right conservative type parties with the usual free trade, small government, decentralisation, low tax, limit benefits policies that one expects.
