I've left instructions by the tap.

I don't know what has happened to the birds but we used to see more of them on the 9th floor at the Gateway than we do here at Captain Webbs. Have feeder out and water just in case.

I too have been out there doing the needful and I was "...some time" at it carrying all but Oates. Water also...I knew I should have used permanent marker on my sign at the tap.
Not much seems to have fallen after the last time I looked last night. Today all is a-drip and slushy.
This is the first snow for our new puppy too, her paw prints can be seen either side of the furrow left by her belly.

Our feathered friends have stripped my holly tree's berries in the last 72 hours.
