The Town of Dover has a problem with anyone acknowledging it's existence or its importance to the people who actually live in the Town.....we love it....but very few others in POWER do....
Someone I know was asked on the seafront by a visitor...do you live in DOVER?

The Castle was more affiliated when Rate Payers in the area.....remember that
were allowed free access to the Castle grounds....
