I’ve just received notification from Kent Police that they are putting Stack in place. I have suggested they don’t remove Dover TAP in order to prevent gridlock in the town.

I would rather they moved the start of Dover TAP away from Aycliffe. We have suffered enough from lorry horns and pollution. But hey everyone else is OK.

Gary I totally agree. But if they remove TAP you will still have the horny truckers plus gridlock in the town.

I did not removed it I just said move it back from a residential area. Aycliffe residents have been campaigning for this from the start but no cares or listens

Yes I know. But their SOP is to take TAP off when Stack is implemented. ‘Twas to that particular piece of organisational genius that I was referring.

Maybe some form of class action lawsuit against DHB and Highways, perhaps just the starting of procedures might kick someone into action, might be worth speaking to solicitors for direction on how to proceed. Initial consultation should be free.

A new roundabout at the entrance down to Samphire Hoe perhaps.

Kent MPs were only furious as it so happened to be the day that Parliament was voting on no deal Brexit (which they fantasize over). Perfect timing and entirely coincidental with wind gusts stronger than the speed limit!
