The important thing is never ever to refer to the imposition of 'Operation Stack'.
Operation Stack, which was first used in 1988, involves hundreds of lorries clogging up the M20, whenever the French decide to throw a bit of a wobbler.
The Government has now been seen to have taken some action over this problem after pressure from MP, DDC and KCC, all of whom have claimed they were behind the improvements.
Whilst both Operation TAP and Operation Perch still result in hundreds of lorries clogging up the M20 and some might say there has been no improvement they are actually totally different to Stack so that's all right then (I have press releases to prove this).
