Just to let you lads know that there's no point anymore in throwing Fagin's dinner remains over my garden wall for my dog to eat. Sadly we had to have her put down a couple of weeks ago. I'm afraid the GSD problem of back legs hit with a vengeance.
Last night, Fagin's dinner appeared to be tomato based. The seagulls found it tasty. I think the best one of all was the chicken breast neatly sliced, filled with what appeared to be black pepper and stitched up. I'm not sure I could have coped with the dog's gastric consequences.
Those who know me will know who Fagin is.

Sorry to hear about your dog Terry.
I have no idea who Fagin is but he sounds like someone to be avoided.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, too, Terry.
When you've had them for a while, they really are part of the family.
I remember you talking about Fagin some time ago and thought perhaps he had stopped his nefarious activities - obviously not.

Thanks Jan and chaps. I'll not get another one, let's face it, if it lived to a normal age I'd still be taking the damn thing out when I was over 80!

Maybe not Terry, the animal rescue groups often say they need new owners for older dogs where an elderly owner might have had to give it away for whatever reason.
Having said that I could not face getting another dog when our last mutt went the same way as yours watching her just prior to that last trip to the vet was awful as she had always been so very active.
