    Brian I wish you would take the trouble to look into the facts before you come on here. Whinging and whining is in fact what you do.
    If you took time to read up on the subject, and I don't mean The Sun, you would see that the French fishermen do in fact have a genuine grievance. It's not a case of the French government giving in as you call it, it's a case of these hardworking men letting their government know that it is impossible for them to carry on making a living out of fishing with the current restrictions. They are family men doing their best to do their job but they have to deal with running costs, breakdowns, bad weather and a host of other things. Unless the quotas are increased they stand no chance.
    I would say it's you who needs to stop sniping and get your facts right and I'm sure our local fishermen will not thank you for your sarcasm either.
