  I object to awards dished out to the many who get one for simply doing the job they are well paid to do, like MPs or company directors or civil servants.
  
  Surely most celebrities get their awards for the charity work they do quite often by using their high profile to raise awareness. At the moment my hero celebrity is Kevin Sinfield who has raised several £millions and raised public awareness of the devastating illness Motor Neurone Disease.
