    His report is very relevant and to the point. Immigration is an international problem and can only be mitigated by international cooperation. Unfortunately, that's not something we're too keen on the moment and Patel is too thick to grasp. She saw a tough immigration stance as a vote winner but now finds her impossible promises coming back to bite her.

    His report featured on the Today programme very near the end this morning. Recommended listening.
